Supported Community Living
"96% Customer Satusfaction in 2010"
Independence is important to us all, whether we live with a disability or not. Our Community Living services support adults to live as independently as possible, yet still receive the support they need.
Perhaps they live in their own apartment or home, or maybe they are an adult child living with family members. In any case, services are developed based on the individual needs of the person. This includes finding a place to live and the money to pay for living expenses.
Services may be as complete as full-time 24 hour staffing or as minimal as meeting with staff once per week – it all depends on the individual needs of the person. Community living services are available in Cass, Fulton, Kosciusko and Marshall Counties.

Respite Services
Having a relative with a disability living at home is a fulfilling experience. Yet, at times it can also be extremely hard to do this without help. Cardinal’s Respite Services helps families meet this challenge by providing a qualified, well-trained Direct Support Professional to stay with their family member, assuring they are safe and well cared for. This allows people time to run errands, have lunch with a friend, or perhaps just take a relaxing walk or be off by themselves.
Respite can be provided in the family home, as long as the caretakers are not present. Respite can also be provided out in the community during this time. There are some restrictions on what the caretaker can do while this service is being provided so please make sure to ask.
