KABS serves all of Kosciusko County and some communinties just outside the county.
Monday - Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
KABS is Medicaid approved and can transport to medical appointments state-wide.
Call to inquire about reserving a bus for large party transportation.

3 WAYS TO RIDE

1) Prescheduled Trip - call a day in advance of the travel time and make a reservation.

2) Standing Reservation - we pick you up the same time each day the service is needed. You never have to call except to cancel.

3) Same Day Service - If you cannot call a day in advance, KABS will still do its best to accommodate your transportation needs.

FARE AND FEE SCHEDULE:

With 24 hour notice:

0-10 miles - $1.00 one way

11-25 miles - $2.00 one way

26+ miles - $3.00 one way

Same Day Fee: Add $4.00 to the appropriate fare if you are calling for a ride the same day.

No-Show Fee: There will be a $4.00 fee for no-shows or rides not appropriately cancelled at least an hour in advance.

Out of County Fee: Add a $10.00 fee for any pick-ups or drop-offs outside the county.

Correct change is required. Our drivers can not make change. Purchase tickets or tokens at 1804 E. Winona Avenue between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

KABS guarantees on time service. If we're ever late, your ride is free, no excuses, no exceptions, every time, every day.

Additional Information:

·         All information can be made available in large format text or electronic documents;

·         Service animals are permitted to accompany individuals;

·         Passengers are permitted to carry portable oxygen tanks on vehicles;

·         One personal care attendant may ride at no additional cost;

·         Please call KABS and ask to speak with the General Manager if customer service expectations are not met.
