ARC Seeks to Form Local Chapter
Representatives of The ARC of Indiana will hold a meeting Wednesday, May 30th for anyone interested in the formation of a Kosciusko County chapter of ARC.
ARC is an association of local, community organizations committed to providing supports and services to individuals with disabilities. Their focus is on helping families ensure that any person with a disability is afforded the rights, duties, responsibilities and full participation as citizens in their community.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
- Person with a disability
- Parent or relative of a person with a disability or special needs
- Teach responsible for the education of students with special needs
- Professional working in the disability field
- Citizen interested in disability issues
- Volunteer willing to be an advocate for the disability community
