Grassroots Leadership Programs Offered
Ever think that things would be better if only you had more information and input? Well, here's your chance!
The Hispanic Leadership Coalition of Northeast Indiana, Inc. HLCNI is offering the Grassroots Leadership Development Program (GLDP) 2007. The program is free of charge.
The GLDP Program educates the Latino community through informational sessions and networking. Those who participate in 7 of the 9 workshops will earn a partial scholarship to the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI) Conference in Chicago.
Sessions will be held at the Allen County Public Library at 900 Library Plaza, Downtown Fort Wayne(off of E. Washington Blvd).
Sessions will run from 5:30pm - 6:00pm (Networking) and 6:00pm - 8:00pm (Program)

May 7th – Preparing for Immigration Reform
(including taxes, ITIN, budget, etc.)
May 21st – Making your Money Work
(Financial Literacy)
June 11th – Making the Best of After School Hrs
June 18th – Meet & Greet Mayoral Candidates
July 2nd – Help Your Child Succeed in School
July 16th – Building Bridges for Ethnic Harmony
July 30th – Accessing Better Healthcare
Aug. 6th – Learning about Immigration Issues
Aug. 20th – Launching a New Era of Latino Leadership
All sessions are free, open to the public and no registration is required.
