Healthy Families
The Healthy Families program through Cardinal Center is designed to strengthen families and promote healthy childhood growth and development. This voluntary home visitation program is designed to promote healthy families and healthy children through a variety of services including child development, access to health care and parent education. Healthy Families helps overburdened families, teaches problem-solving skills, helps reduce family stress, improves family support systems, and most importantly promotes positive parent/child interactions.
Parents have more understanding of child development and parenting. They have more patience with their children and learn to use health care resources effectively.
